Almora: In the seminar held at UPPA's central office in Almora on the eve of Uttarakhand State Foundation Day, deep concern was expressed over the continuous playing with the identity and concept of the state. Here UPPA Central President PC Tiwari said that the governments of national parties that came here in the last 23 years have ruined the identity of this state, due to which the people are disappointed and angry.

The puppet governments of national parties that came here mercilessly looted the natural resources, which could have made the state prosperous, prosperous and developing. In the four-hour long seminar, the speakers said that the question of identity and alternative of 23 years of Uttarakhand was discussed. Due to this, today this state has become a sick state suffering from migration, displacement, inflation, unemployment and corruption. The residents here are not getting basic facilities.

The level of oppression against women has increased in a state like Uttarakhand, speakers said. The government is running away from the responsibilities of education and health. Governments have no solution to unemployment and drug addiction.

Speakers expressed deep displeasure that the governments are playing with the Himalayas by allowing companies to plunder the Himalayan state while damaging its sensitivity and environmental condition, with the result that that the whole nation will have to pay.

Advocate Jeevan Chandra, speaking at the meeting, said that slogans like "Do today, give Uttarakhand state" vitiated the concept of the state.

UPPA General Secretary Naresh Naudiyal said that the government is starting the work of giving land of Uttarakhand to capitalists in the name of Investor Summit, which will have fatal consequences.
